Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo equaled the record set by Argentine Omar Sivori, scoring 33 goals in 1961 after he managed to achieve the same record in the Italian league over a whole year.
Juventus club said on its official website today that Ronaldo scored a record that remained steadfast for nearly 60 years after scoring two goals in Juventus' 4-0 victory over Parma in the 13th round of the Italian Football League.
Ronaldo is top scorer in the Italian league with 12 goals, two ahead of Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
