What a tragedy
Immediately after this incident, a group of firefighters from Lorraine were called to the scene as well as a first aid team who performed CPR on the gardener, who was taken to Scoop Hospital in critical condition but did not survive.
The 38-year-old gardener volunteered and is the father of three children.
The two other gardeners who worked alongside him were not injured, but were in shock and were also evacuated to the hospital.
Lorraine Mayor Fabrice Lohar came to the scene and said, "This is a terrible accident. I can say no more than that right now."
Local police have already opened an investigation to understand the circumstances of the case.
The players were also in shock and none of them spoke after the game, as the result became extremely marginal in light of this case.
