Liverpool won the British Broadcasting Corporation's Team of the Year award.
The authority announced the winners of the Sports Personality of the Year Awards 2020, as Liverpool deserved the Team of the Year award after being crowned the Premier League title last season after waiting for a 30-year-old missed by 18 points from the runner-up Manchester City.
It is worth noting that Liverpool had previously won the award in 2001 after winning three titles: the Federation Cup and the League in England and the European Union Cup “European League now” under the leadership of French coach Gerard Ollier, who died a few days ago.
