Will Eran Zehavi return to Maccabi Tel Aviv?

In an interview given by the player to Ben Mittelman, which is scheduled to be broadcast on News 12 tonight (Wednesday), the star of the Israeli national team who plays for PSV Eindhoven admitted that he does not enjoy football at the moment.

As you may recall, Zehavi left the Yellows about four and a half years ago and moved to the Chinese Guangzhou R&F.

At the beginning of the season he moved to play for the Dutch luxury team, where he has so far scored one goal in six appearances.

"To return to Maccabi Tel Aviv?

There is a chance for everything.

That I will end or continue my contract (in the Netherlands) until the end.

"I really never rule anything out, not to stay in the Netherlands, not to move to another place, not to return to Maccabi Tel Aviv. I do not know. Depends on what happens. You know, let's see what happens in the coming month ... I hope it will be good" .

"Football has changed a lot right now and I do not think it's something fun to be in right now. Right now when there is no crowd, when every test you are under pressure if you can play, if you are in isolation, just the head is not there, the heart is not, passion is not "I will not tell you that I enjoy it. Absolutely not."

Eran Zehavi began his alumni career at Hapoel Tel Aviv in the 2006/7 season and won a double with the team in the 2009/10 season.

In 2011 he went to Europe and played in the Palermo uniform from the Italian league.

In 2013, he returned to Israel and signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv's city rival, Maccabi, with which he won three championships, including the 2014/15 season in which the team won all the titles in Israel (championship, state cup and toto cup).
