Danny Abdia scored 7 points tonight (Wednesday to Thursday) and picked up 4 rebounds in the Washington Wizards' 76-110 loss to Fidelia 76: 107 in the 19-year-old Israeli's debut game in the NBA League.
Abdia scored two threes at 100% in the away game, and also added one assist and a steal.
The No. 9 pick in the draft received 28 minutes from coach Scott Brooks.
The game was close and Washington even led in the fourth quarter, but the hosts - considered one of the best teams in the East - surpassed in the final minutes.
Russell Westbrook, the Washington star who arrived this summer from the Houston Rockets, finished with a triple-double of 21 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds.
Joel Ambide excelled in the team uniform of Doc Rivers, who recorded a win in his first game as the team coach, with a double-double of 29 points and 17 rebounds.
The next game between Abdia and Washington will take place on the night between Saturday and Sunday in the US capital.
