The British newspaper The Guardian published its assessment of the best footballers for 2020, which included surprises in terms of partially differing from the FIFA ratings.
The newspaper based its evaluation on the analyzes of specialists in the field of football to choose the actual best in terms of play and not merely based on the choices of coaches, players and critics, as FIFA does.
The list saw the emergence of the Norwegian and the German Borussia Dortmund player Erling Brut Haaland in the list of ten, where he ranked sixth in the classification, while three players from Liverpool, England, appeared in the top ten, with Senegalese Sadio Mane ranked fifth, Egyptian Mohamed Salah eighth, and Dutch Virgil van Dyck ranked tenth.
Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski was also on the top of the list, as he was in the FIFA classification, and was succeeded by Argentine Lionel Messi and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.
