Nearly four years have passed since David Blatt was unexpectedly fired from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
A lot has changed since then: Blatt was forced to retire from coaching under unfortunate circumstances, LeBron managed to give Cleveland the historic championship he fantasized about, and last season added a fourth ring to his resume, this time in the Lakers uniform.
But despite the time that has passed, in the United States there are those who still draw lessons from that period.
James Posey, a former player and who served as Blatt's assistant during his time in Cleveland, is one of them.
In a column for the Basketball News website, he talked about the memories of those days, and what can be learned from them.

Posey, who continued to serve as Cleveland's assistant coach until last year, claims that "Tay Lou did a great job as head coach.
