The 10th round of the Premier League kicked off tonight (Sunday).

20 years and 10 days after the last time they met head to head in the Premier League, the Haifa derby will return to the first league when Maccabi, the last in the table, will meet Hapoel, which is ranked in the center of the table.

Another team that is entangled in the burning bottom, Urbani Nahariya, will present Shai Saglovitch as their new coach, in the home game against Hapoel Eilat.

Maccabi Haifa - Hapoel Haifa (20:30, Sport 5)

The Greens are coming to the derby in the midst of a terrible season.

One win in eight rounds, and a defeat in the previous round to Bnei Herzliya, which lowered Daniel Sawana's players to last place in the table.

Haifa will arrive at the Carmel derby with a deeper squad than was presented in the middle of the week - Tyler Baron will make his debut, with Devon Jefferson not in Israel and on his way out of the team.

Haifa knows that the city rival is in a better position, but hopes that the importance of the derby will make the players present basketball better and start the exit from the hot bottom.

Elad Hussein's team arrives for the derby after the loss to Hapoel Holon last week where they were in the game for long minutes but showed not good enough defensive ability.

The Reds received in the game first minutes from their promising new citizen Tyler Rochesti, and since the game he has also managed to train with his new teammates in what gives more confidence to the professional team and management.

The team gives a lot of respect to the green rival, and knows that despite the fact that the balance of power tends in their favor quite clearly, in the derby these gaps are almost meaningless.

Urban Nahariya - Hapoel Eilat

With one victory in seven rounds, there was a big shock this week in Nahariya.

Coach Danny Franco is fed up with the situation in the team and resigned and the one who took his place is Shai Saglovich, who came from Elitzur Yavne and will coach for the first time in the Premier League.

Nahariya hopes that the shock will bring life to the team, while at the same time considering making changes to the squad that will continue to be the one that has appeared in recent games.

After the game against Eilat, a season game awaits the team against Bnei Herzliya, followed by a break, so the Purples know that they must come out with at least one victory in the next two games in order not to sink towards the last place.

After a series of less good performances and also a decrease in results, Hapoel Eilat returned to itself in the middle of last week with a victory over Hapoel Beer Sheva while playing better quality basketball.

In Eilat, they know that after the match in Nahariya, a strange period awaits them in which they will only play once in four weeks in the league, when during this period the team may make some change in the staff in order to strengthen for the later stages.

The opening went close, with Kaylene Lucas and Michael Young holding Nahariya in the picture, but the host did not find an answer for Ben Carter and Eilat finished the first quarter with a

advantage

, after already leading 18:26.

Jonathan Schuldbrand warmed up outside the arc, Casey Prater joined and the guest went down to the locker rooms with a
