While Washington continues to falter, Danny Abdia continues to show signs of progress.
The Israeli rookie recorded his best game tonight (Sunday to Monday) since the start of the NBA season, scoring 9 points, taking down 9 rebounds, handing out 3 assists and snatching twice against Orlando.
Unfortunately, his positive display ended in a sour taste, after the Wizards dropped a 17-point lead in the final quarter, losing 120: 113 and remaining undefeated in the first three games of the season.
In the absence of Russell Westbrook who got a rest, Abdia got a chance to be more involved in the offense, threw 11 times from the field (and scored 4) and also handed out 3 assists, one of them to the crazy basket of the night in the NBA - Robin Lopez hooking a hook from a hard angle, without looking at the basket .
