The 0: 4 summary of Maccabi Tel Aviv over Hapoel Tel Aviv (Sport 1)

"He terrifies the goalkeepers," the Serbian media complimented Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Alexander Peshich, who last night scored the second yellow goal in the 0: 4 win over Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Tel Aviv derby.

The Serbian striker arrived at Maccabi Tel Aviv after a long period without football or goals.

He scored at the end of September in the Korean Seoul uniform and then did not find himself, until he landed in Kiryat Shalom.

"Since arriving at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Peshic has been playing as if he were reborn," Bessarabia wrote. "The former Red Star striker, who also played for El Itihad and Seoul, has so far scored four goals in the Israeli league, including yesterday against Hapoel Tel Aviv in a derby."

Last June, the Serbian striker did not return to Saudi Arabia, but he was not included in the plans and to his delight, Maccabi Tel Aviv threw him a lifeline in early October - after it had already started the season.

Aside from Peshich's four Premier League goals, he also scored the equalizer against Villarreal in the Europa League home stage.

Peshic has previously played for Radnicki (Serbia), Cretan (Greece), Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) and Vigodina (Serbia).

In 2014 he joined Toulouse and after two mediocre years, signed in the summer of 2016 in Atlanta.

The Serb had a very difficult time in Italy, showed weak ability and played in the Narazzi uniform for only 83 minutes throughout the season.

The following summer he signed with the Red Star Belgrade, scored 25 league goals and helped his team win the Serbian championship, while being crowned the top scorer and "player of the season" in the local league.

Al-Etihad Saudi Arabia was very impressed and in the summer they paid 4.2 million euros for it.

However, the back-back striker had a hard time recovering the numbers from the 2017/18 season and after 11 games and one goal, was loaned to Seoul.

In the Korean league he scored 10 goals.
