A great debut for Mario Balotelli in a Monza uniform from Serie B. The striker, who played last season in Brescia and left before the end of the season, signed in the summer with the intriguing team where Kevin Prince Boateng also plays, but following an injury made his first appearance only tonight (Wednesday) against leader Salernitana.
Already in the fourth minute, the former Italian national team striker scored his first goal when he pushed close to his team's first goal.
The host added two more goals en route to a big 0: 3 and is now in second place, just a point away from second-placed Ampoli, and two points from the top, with the first two places in the Italian sub-league leading to Serie A.

This is Balotelli's first league goal in 360 days, and the player who has played for big teams such as Inter, AC Milan and Manchester City will hope to produce continuity and maybe even find a home after passing no less than nine teams in his career when he turned 30 this year.
