At the age of 84, the singer and actor Lior Yeni, the father of the captain of Maccabi Tel Aviv, one of the most prominent artists in Israel in the 1960s and 1970s, who was also a member of the mythological rooster band under the direction and guidance of Naomi Polani, passed away tonight (Saturday).
Yeni, who of course will not be in the squad for Monday's game against Maccabi Petah Tikva, is also expected to miss the game against Bnei Yehuda on Thursday.
