After a season disrupted by the Covid 19 pandemic, sport hopes to find more favorable conditions in the coming months. Fo

Here is what we wrote just a year ago: “There will be something for all tastes, and for all eyes.

The year 2020 promises to be particularly rich in sporting events, with two summits: the Tokyo Olympics, from July 24 to August 9, and the Football Euro from June 12 to July 12.

"But that was before ... Before the Covid 19 pandemic and all the upheavals that were to follow.

Sport stopped in March and the postponement of major competitions… such as the Olympic Games and the Euro football.

This year, we therefore hope that sport will be able to regain its rights over the long term, with events taking place on the right dates, with athletes at their best and, why not, with the public.

We saw in 2020 how much the in camera can be detrimental (from all points of view) to professional competitions.

The Tokyo Olympics three years from Paris 2024

So, of course, in this year 2021, the program - if it is respected - promises to be very rich.

Starting with Euro football, which will kick off on June 11.

The Blues of Didier Deschamps will be among the favorites of the competition organized in several cities across Europe.

Griezmann, Mbappé, Lloris and the others will however have to extract themselves from a difficult group in the first round, made up of Hungary but, above all, of Germany, 2014 world champion, and Portugal, holding the European trophy!

There will then be a choice piece with the Tour de France and its Grand Départ in Brest on June 26.

We can envisage a new duel at the top between the Slovenes Tadej Pogacar and Primoz Roglic.

But the French Thibaut Pinot and Julian Alaphilippe will certainly also animate the three weeks of the race.

Finally, the summer's summit, the entire planet will have its eyes on the Tokyo Olympics, scheduled from July 23, and where Teddy Riner (judo), Kevin Mayer (athletics) and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (cycling) will certainly want to shine.

France will be keen to win as many medals as possible… three years before the formidable deadline for the Paris Olympics!
