The storm around Nir Bitton and his removal at Old Firm did not subside and reached frightening proportions.
The Israeli national team player was sent off yesterday (Saturday) in the 62nd minute in the Glasgow derby, and after eight minutes, Rangers scored the winning goal, defeated Celtic 0: 1 and opened a huge gap of 19 points at the top of the Scottish league.
Since the game, Bitton has been attacked on networks, and now it turns out that his wife, Bar, has also received abusive messages and threats on Instagram.
"This is one of many messages I received yesterday," Bar Bitton clarified on her Instagram account and posted a correspondence in which a fan wrote to her: "You and your husband deserve to be hanged on the street."

The 29-year-old Bitton has been playing for Celtic since 2013 and has won seven consecutive championships with them, including Treble last season.
The red in the derby was his second in the Scottish League (the previous one was in January 2016) and he will miss the games against Ophir Marciano's Hibernian and against Livingston.

Cyprus: Dor Micha scored Anorthosis' second goal for Czech Josef Hosbauer, but his side lost 0-2 and lost 3-2 away to leader Apollon Limassol, who are now six points ahead.
Micha was replaced in the 78th minute, goalkeeper Assaf Tzur remained on the bench.
