After losing Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos became Real Madrid's greatest asset.
But anyone who thought it was natural for the legendary stopper to retire in the Blancos uniform will be surprised to find that the captain is flirting with other clubs and is currently closer to signing for Paris Saint-Germain than extending a contract at Madrid.
El Cheringito dropped a bombshell when they reported that Ramos had rejected an offer he received from Florentino for claiming he wanted to play with Leo Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.
Following these reports, journalist Juanfa Sachens reported that Ramos attacked Florentino in a conversation between them and told him: "I felt abandoned. I think you and Angel Sanchez (a member of the board) want me to leave Real Madrid."

Marca claims that the bedrock of the dispute between Ramos and the club is the length of the contract.
Ramos is demanding a long-term contract with a salary similar to what he has earned so far (around 12 million euros per season) but Real Madrid are in no hurry to provide him with a huge new contract as he is already 34, a year younger than Lucca Modric who unlike Ramos will soon extend his contract for another season.
Ramos is 34 years old but is still considered the leader and most stable player in the Blancos' defense.
Ramos has been playing for Real Madrid since 2006 after moving to Sevilla and in addition to his defensive ability and leadership, he was also the team's runner - up in the league last season with 11 conquests.
It should be noted that Ramos' departure would be a fatal blow to the club, which took him a long time to recover from Ronaldo's departure.
Right now apart from Ramos, Rafael Varane is the only senior stopper on the roster.
Another player who is currently refusing to extend his contract is Lucas Vasquez.
Essex, who has enjoyed a very good season so far and has also served in a number of games as a right-back, is also meanwhile refusing to extend his contract and is demanding a higher salary.
