The comeback did not materialize?

Will Andre Geralds' return to Maccabi Tel Aviv not be implemented in the end?
For now, the deal seems stuck.
The new coach of Apoel Nicosia Sabas Forsyatidis, who succeeded Mick McCarthy who was sacked earlier today (Wednesday), has decided to stop the releases from the team in the meantime, and threatens the comeback of the right-back to the champion.
Unlike Noble Omar, who has already summed up the terms of his release and will land in Israel tonight with the aim of signing for Maccabi Haifa, Geralds has not yet reached an agreement with the club, which is currently delaying his release.

The 29-year-old Geralds returned to Sporting Lisbon this summer after his successful loan season at Maccabi Tel Aviv, with whom he was a partner in a smooth championship that almost ended without a loss.
The defender was a candidate for Olympiacos early in the summer, but the Greek champions eventually signed Brazilian Rafinho and he was forced to wait without a team, until he signed for Apoel Nicosia.
In Cyprus he made nine appearances, in the failed season of Epoel.
