The governorate youth football team appeared well in the first stage of the league and was a strong match for all teams, and most of them defeated what qualifies them to obtain an advanced position among the teams competing for the title.

The team managed to win seven matches on Nai'ir 2-1, Al-Shurta 3-0, Tishreen 4-1, Al-Karama 2-1, Al-Wehda, Al-Hurriya and Hateen with the same score 1-0, tied with Al-Majd 2-2 and Al-Wathba and Al-Jaish negatively and lost to Al-Ittihad leaders 1- 2 and ahead of Al-Tali'a 2-3 and before Jabla 1-2, as he scored 20 goals and conceded 12 goals.

The coach of the team, Essam Khaddam Al-Jami, in an interview with the SANA sports newsletter, explained that his team presented a high technical level in the first stage and was able to get the third place, indicating that he has great confidence in his players who have high morale to advance more in the second stage of the rankings.

Khaddam al-Jameh said: “Our training is ongoing and intense in preparation for the return stage, and after the short break that was given to the players, we are working to raise their physical readiness in addition to the tactical aspect,” adding that the club’s management headed by Muhammad al-Sibai and the game’s supervisor at the club, Dr. Anas al-Sibai, provided the team with financial support during their continuous follow-up. And the moral is to continue our march in an ascending graph to reach our goal in the competition and provide the men's team with distinguished players in the next stage.

Coach Khaddam al-Jami pointed out that football in most cases needs an addition to the technical level and good performance to reconcile, and this is what we hope because the three draws and the three losses that we have suffered were closer to winning in all of them and if that was achieved, we would have sat on top, indicating that there were great efforts. It has a role in the state of harmony and achieving victories provided by the technical staff, which includes the assistant coach Wassim Zabadani and Aqaba Al-Bishr, the guards coach Ahmed Mawaldi, the administrator Omar Sukkar, the therapist Hassan Mahmalji, in addition to all the main players and reserves.
