The draw for the semi-finals of the National Basketball Cup called today (Thursday) for meetings between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Holon and between Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Rishon Lezion.
A few minutes before the draw, the basketball association announced the postponement of the final date, when the semi-finals will be held on February 11, the original date for the final match, in order to at least hold the title fight with an audience, hoping that in April or May fans will be allowed in the stands.
The union said in a statement: "Perhaps this game will be the right marker of a return to routine and a return of the crowd to the pitches. "While the postponement of the final game alone gives hope that it will be held with an audience in a solemn manner appropriate for the state cup final game. In the coming week, it will be decided where the semi-final games will take place and later the location of the final game."
