"Like a pro": Danny Abdia and the sign that fell on his head in the middle of a trip (@washwizardsil)
In the shadow of the riots in Washington that are stirring the United States, the Wizards provided their own stormy 48 minutes tonight (Wednesday through Thursday).
Bradley Bill who started the season in dizzying form, set new records with a rare offensive explosion, but somehow Danny Abdia’s team failed to take advantage of that as well and lost 141: 136 to Philadelphia.
Bill's exceptional display totaled 60 points - a personal career record for him, equal to the club's record set by Gilbert Arenas in December 2006 - with 20 of 35 from the field, 7 threes from 10 attempts, 13 from 15 from the penalty spot alongside 7 rebounds and 5 assists - all in just 38 minutes on the floor.
Unfortunately, the rest of the Wizards did not function on defense, with Danny Abdia recording a relatively weak game.
The Israeli rookie continued to get credit in the top five, but completed 16 passive minutes with one point from the penalty spot, just one shot from the field, a block and three fouls.
Abdia continues to have a hard time expressing himself as he plays most of the minutes alongside the Wizards ’senior players, and slowly his amount of minutes goes down.
Tonight this is also reflected in the fact that for the first time this season, he opened the second half on the bench and saw Davis Bartans rise in his place in the top five.

How did the Wizards lose even on an evening like this?
Bradley Bill
Not noticeable again.
Abdia vs. Ben Simmons
The first half of the Wizards was particularly nervous on the defensive side.
Seth Kerry, who opened the season with exceptional shooting ability, found himself free again and again from outside the arc, and along with Joel Ambid who was not intimidated by the double guard sent by the Wizards, led the Sixers to an early escape, helping them fall to the half with a 21-point lead. .
The Wizards showed in the third quarter how explosive they are, with Bradley Bill continuing to snipe from everywhere, Russell Westbrook starting to get into things and the difference slowly being erased, until the equalizer was complete.
Bill finished the third quarter with 57 points, appearing on the safe way to break the club's record for points (recorded to Gilbert Arenas' credit) and overtake the season's season record set by Steph Kerry just two days ago, with 62. But for Philly and especially for Joel Ambide had other plans.
The excellent chin saw Bill miss twice in the final minute and a half, responded with two baskets of his own money and made sure the Sixers held out all the way to the best balance in the NBA right now (1: 7).
With the best balance in the league.
Ambide and Danny Green celebrate, Bradley Bill frustrated in the background
Ambide finished with 38 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks, and received assists of 28 points from Kerry, of 19 each from Shake Milton and Tobias Harris and of 17, 12 assists and 6 rebounds from Ben Simmons.
For the Sixers, besides Bill Russell Westbrook also did his thing with 20, 12 assists and 8 rebounds.
Thomas Bryant was third in double digits with 11, but the Wizards go down to the ground after putting together two straight wins, knowing the defense must make some improvements already in their next game against Boston on Friday night.
