The AFC announced today that the 18th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, hosted by China, will be held from June 16 to July 16, 2023.
China will host the tournament in ten cities with the participation of 24 teams over a period of 31 days.
AFC Secretary General Windsor John said that the upcoming tournament in China will be the largest and most wonderful in the history of Asian football, and we know that the organizing committee and the Chinese Football Association will organize a historic tournament in 2023.
The 2019 edition, hosted by the UAE, and Qatar's national team crowned its first title, which is held every four years, with the participation of 24 teams instead of 16.
