Scott Brooks: "Danny Abdia won't get 30 minutes if he doesn't play well"
The Washington coach sent a message to his rookie after the loss to Boston ("Still trying to figure out how we do things, it builds toughness"), but there is also reason for optimism: "He will be fine because he is a tough kid and I love it."

"Like a pro": Danny Abdia and the sign that fell on his head in the middle of a trip (@washwizardsil)
In his first six games in the best league in the world, Danny Abdia looked like one of the most promising Rockies in the league.
In the last three games, however, the young Israeli gets fewer and fewer minutes, and provides less and less value.
This is how it looks:
First game, against Philadelphia:
28 minutes, 7 points, 4 assists
Second game, against Orlando:
15 minutes, 5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists
Third game, against Orlando:
36 minutes, 9 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists
fourth game, against Chicago:
26 minutes, 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists
fifth game, against Chicago:
25 minutes, 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists
sixth game, against Minnesota:
27 minutes, 11 points, 7 rebounds , 3 assists
Game 7, vs. Brooklyn:
16 minutes, 3 points, rebound and assist
Eighth game, vs. Philadelphia:
16 minutes, 1 point, 0 rebounds, 0 assists
Ninth game, vs. Boston:
14 minutes, 0 points, 2 rebounds and assist

Danny Abdia finished without points, Washington also lost in Boston

Even when he got multiple minutes of play, Abdia did not respond with exceptional statistical lines.
Therefore, it is estimated in the United States, the reason for the decline is Scott Brooks' attempt to provoke his disappointing team - especially defensively.
Tonight the young Israeli had a difficult task ahead of him - one of the most difficult in the NBA this season: to face some of the duo Jason Taitum and Jaylen Brown, who are making names in the league so far.
"Abdia saves better than you might think, but Boston is attacking him," tweeted American journalist Keith Smith.
"Roy Hachimura, too. Washington does nothing to send help. Everyone just keeps their player."
"He's a rookie, he just celebrated his 20th birthday a week ago," Brooks said.
"He has to get through it, it builds mental toughness. He wants to play, he wants to play well, but he's still trying to figure out how we do things and how we play and the leanings of the league."
Although he played so little, Abdia did not see his direct substitutes get his minutes.
Jerome Robinson, Anthony Gil and Troy Brown were not partners at all, Isaac Bonga was given just 6 minutes, and the rest of the minutes were divided between the high ensembles that included Davis Bartens and Moe Wagner, or the low ensembles that included Man Smith.
Garrison Matthews, who played little this season, also got 11 minutes off the bench this time.
"Danny will be fine because he's a tough kid and I like that with him," the Wizards coach added, "but he will not get 30 minutes every night if he does not play well. He will get a chance, tonight it just was not his night."

Bradley Bill, who once again excelled with 41 points, knows what his team’s problem is.
In fact, everyone knows: Washington absorbs 122.1 points per game, the most in the NBA.
"We can't keep a car parked," the star said.
"This is our defense, I don't know why. I'm nervous. All my offensive highs came in losses, so it does not matter to me."
