When the district class team showed signs of disintegration in 2019, the 23-year-old left his youth club for SV Wörth.
"I had a very, very nice year and a half there," emphasizes Berisha, who played 14 out of 18 point games at the regional division.
But when coach Gencer Ugurlu took over the VfB reserve and rebuilt the team, he also contacted Berisha, who didn't have to think long: "It was a matter close to my heart."

The coach is also happy about the change: "Niti is the complete defensive package - strong headed, tall and both feet." Berisha should therefore be used either in central defense or in defensive midfield, replacing Christopher Pippard, who had to go to Cyprus for work.
