Hapoel Be'er Sheva chairman Itai Ben Zeev announced today (Monday) that he is leaving the club.
"It will be recalled that Ben Zeev, who serves as CEO of the Israel Stock Exchange, undertook to fill the position for only one year.
"For now, there is no intention to appoint a replacement chairman," the club said.
"I want to thank Alona Barkat for the trust she placed in me during the time I held my position as chairman of the club," said Ben Zeev.
This is a period characterized by great uncertainty and I am glad that we acted quickly and efficiently in order to maintain the strength of the club during this period as well.
I would like to thank Assi Rahamim, the club's general manager and the management team for their joint, fruitful and professional work. I learned to appreciate the commitment and strong connection of the club members for the success of the club which is also a home for them.
