Itai Schechter is considering continuing his path at Maccabi Tel Aviv
The veteran striker is hurt by his status that remains the same even under Van Leven and may ask to leave in the next transfer window.

Itai Schechter is considering his way to Maccabi Tel Aviv and may ask to leave the team in the transfer window that will open next week.
The striker, who will celebrate his 34th birthday next month and was a partner in the last two championships, is very hurt by his status at Maccabi Tel Aviv when the highlight was in the last game against Bnei Yehuda on Thursday.
Schechter warmed up for long minutes and finally coach Patrick Van Leven preferred not to put him in as a fifth replacement in a team with Dan Bitton.

Yesterday in an interview with Georgios Donis here he talked about Schechter.
The Greek coach admitted that Schechter is the first to be harmed by the fact that Alexander Peshich is the leading striker at Maccabi Tel Aviv and added that he does not see that Schechter's status has changed as a result of Patrick Van Leven replacing him.
Indeed, Schechter hoped that after Donis' departure he would get more minutes.
In Van Leven's first game against Kiryat Shmona, Schechter came in as a substitute and helped win the game also thanks to the pressure he exerted on Snir Levy to confirm the wrong penalty for giving Hozaz extra time.

Schechter played this season in 19 of the team's 26 games, starting with just five and completing 90 minutes in just one game - the 3: 1 loss in Salzburg.
He scored a total of two goals.
The striker feels very bad with the minutes he gets.
Although he is in good personal shape, he is not getting any younger so he wants to enjoy the time he has left to play.
It is highly doubtful that he will be able to continue to last when he is not playing and not being counted by the professional team.
It is not inconceivable that in the coming month within the transfer window he will decide to ask to leave Maccabi Tel Aviv to go play more and regain the joy of the game.
Schechter will end his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv at the end of the season and if he moves to another team, he will want to sign a contract for a season and a half.
