A stun grenade was placed this afternoon (Tuesday) outside the door of the home of a senior footballer in the center of the country.

A police sapper who was called to the scene handled the grenade and evacuated it.

Police began collecting testimonies from family members and began investigating the case.

At this point it is not clear who placed the grenade.

More details to come.

As you may recall, only yesterday a stun grenade was thrown into the yard of Eli Tabib's house in Kfar Shmaryahu.

Tabib, who owned Betar Jerusalem, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Kfar Saba, is in Miami and his wife was there.
