Noam Bar, the coach of the Israeli national team, said after the game: "It was a disappointing loss, that's exactly what I feared. In the first set we played well, we spoiled ourselves with simple balls. It could have been a different game if we had taken the first set."
"After two years the team did not play, we went up to the first set and lost by two points. Our players lack the international experience to close the sets, we have to learn from these losses, but I am happy with the players. We need these games to move forward. "
