The International Federation for History and Statistics chose Lionel Messi as the world's best playmaker for the last decade.
According to the federation's official website, Messi surpassed his closest competitor, Andres Iniesta, the former star of Barcelona, Spain, and Vissel Kobe, Japan, by 47 points.
Al-Ittihad relied on 20 players in the last 10 years, where the former got 20 points, the second got 19 and the third was 18, while the 20-ranked player got one point.
Messi's traditional rival, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus striker, was ranked 12th, and Brazilian star Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain striker, was ranked seventh.
