"The Russian billionaire believes that the Israeli's experience can contribute a lot to Frank Lampard," the British media reported, but Grant himself "believes that his strengths are more as a manager than as a behind-the-scenes man."

Chelsea's 0: 4 Summary over Murakamb (Sport 1)
Rumors of a possible return of Abraham Grant to Chelsea are growing.
Tonight (Tuesday) it is also reported on the "Sky" network that Roman Abramovitch is interested in returning the Israeli to the system, in order to work alongside Frank Lampard.
"The Russian billionaire believes Grant's experience can contribute a lot to Lampard and his team," it read.
"Grant believes his strengths are more as a manager than as a man behind the scenes, so his return to Stamford Bridge may be short-lived."
The 65-year-old Israeli, who is considered very close to Abramovich, has not coached since the term at Northeast United of the Indian League.
In 2008 he led Chelsea to the Champions League final with Lampard being one of his standout players, with 20 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions.
The Blues started the current season very badly and after 17 rounds they are ranked only ninth with 26 points, including a lone league victory in their last six games.

These reports come amid the public support Grant Blampard expressed on his Instagram account a few days ago: "In situations like this, when things are not going well, you have to be strong and show character. What I can offer Frank and the club is patience. Do not stop fighting, even when things "Do not work. And do not lose what you have in mind. If you do, everything will be fine, because there are qualities in the staff and there is potential, as there was in my time."
