Brazilian striker Mauricio is in advanced talks with Hapoel Jerusalem.
The team wanted to sign Julio Cesar, but Hapoel Ixel refused to release him, and now the Reds are expected to try and add the striker.
As will be recalled, Mauricio was released from Hapoel Afula and signed in the summer.
The Brazilian striker, who played four years in the Premier League in the MS Ashdod and Kiryat Shmona uniforms, played last season in the Cypriot Bena Salamis, in which he made only ten appearances in the league.
