According to consistent US media reports, NBA professional James Harden, who is willing to change, has got his way and will play for the Brooklyn Nets in the future.
The Shooting Guard will leave the Houston Rockets, reported ESPN and the New York Times.
With his new team, the 31-year-old will have two more superstars at his side, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
With that, Harden should become part of a squad that meets his own requirements.
Apparently that hadn't been the case recently.
Harden is a multiple NBA all star and top scorer in the league, as well as a world champion and Olympic champion.
But he has never won the championship.
In the past few weeks, he had made no secret of his dissatisfaction and on the day before the change he made himself clearer than ever before.
“We're just not good enough.
I love the city, I gave everything I can.
But this situation is crazy, the problems cannot be solved, ”he said after the loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
As a result, he was not allowed to participate in training on Wednesday.
The Rockets have lost three of their nine season games to date.
The complex swap was not yet official on Wednesday.
It was therefore unclear which players and access rights the Rockets would get in future drafts.
Apparently there are several teams involved.
According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers are involved in the deal, which includes multiple first-round picks for future drafts.
In December, Harden received a fine of $ 50,000 from the NBA for violating the Corona Code of Conduct.
A video circulated on social media that found him partying in a club without a face mask.
Harden had thus contributed to the first game cancellation last season.
Harden has played for Houston since 2012 and is one of the league's most successful scorers year after year.
He already played with Brooklyn's Durant for Oklahoma City.
