The 27th edition of the Handball World Cup kicked off in Egypt today with the participation of 32 countries, including six Arabs competing in the Handball World Cup for the first time.
The World Cup, which continues until the end of this month, opened at 7 pm with a match between Egypt and Chile.
And the organizing committee of the World Cup announced earlier that the tournament matches would be held without a public presence due to the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
The committee stressed that it is fully committed to all necessary precautionary measures to avoid infection with the Coronavirus by following the medical bubble model presented by Egypt as a scientific approach to follow in the upcoming international tournaments.
