The young star of Maccabi Netanya, Younes Melda, is expected to take off for Belgium today, in order to undergo medical tests and sign for local Ghent.

The move came after Netanya reached an agreement in principle with the Belgian team on the sale of the 21-year-old player and she is expected to earn a considerable amount from the deal, which is estimated at over one and a half million euros, and she will also keep a percentage of future sales.

In the last three seasons, Younes Malda has become a regular player in the Netanya squad, and very early on by the team's previous coaches Slobodan Drapic and Shai Barda, but only this year came the big break and from the beginning of the season the player scored 7 goals in the league.

In Netanya, we marked a possible replacement for Melda and he is the striker Itai Schechter who may leave the Yellows, and already two months ago we announced for the first time that the player is interested in retiring from the diamond ranks.
