Striker Alon Turgeman signed today (Thursday) for two and a half years at Hapoel Haifa, to which he returns after leaving it in 2018 and signing in Vienna, Austria.

The 29-year-old Turgeman recorded the best season of his career in the Carmel Reds uniform, when in 2017/18 he scored 12 league goals and served as an important screw in the team that won the state cup.

Owner Yoav Katz said today: "When Alon Turgeman left us after winning the trophy in favor of a European career, I always knew that once he decided to return to Israel it would be in the Hapoel Haifa uniform. Alon is a rare player and personality and his natural place in Israeli football is at Hapoel Haifa."

Turgeman returns to Israel after a difficult period abroad. Since arriving in Europe in the summer of 2018, he has been absent for a total of 274 days and missed 30 games for his teams, Austria Vienna and Wisla Krakow. At Hapoel Haifa, which is facing long injuries this season, striker Case Ganem And William Agada, hoping Turgeman will be on the health line.
