Santos' victory over Boca Juniors in the Libertadores Cup semi-final (Sport 1)
Santos advanced tonight (Wednesday to Thursday) to the Libertadores Cup final and secured an all-Brazilian title match for the first time since 2006. The final will be held in Marcana on January 30 and there she will meet Palmeiras, who secured promotion on Tuesday.
Santos defeated Boca Juniors 0: 3 tonight and completed 0: 3 in the sum of the games.
Goals from Diego Pituca (16), Jefferson Sotaldo (49) and Lucas Braga (51) made the difference for the black-and-whites, who reached the final for the first time since 2011. So they went on to hoist after a win over Penarol.
Palmeiras completed the job yesterday despite a 2-0 loss in Sao Paulo - this after beating River Plate a week earlier 0: 3 in Buenos Aires.

This will be the first time after three consecutive years in which there will be no Argentine team in the Libertadores Cup final and in any case will record a Brazilian win with the 21st in history.
Argentina still lead in this area with 25. Santos will try to win the trophy for the fourth time in its history, while Palmeiras will seek to do so for the second time.
