After qualifying for the Winner Basket Cup final and the semi-final of the State Cup, and just before a fateful game in the Champions League where it depends only on itself, Hapoel Holon qualified today (Friday) for the second round of the Balkan League after beating Hapoel Tel Aviv 66:77.
The second immigrant will be determined next week from Hapoel Gilboa / Galil, Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Rishon Lezion.
As will be recalled, in the second phase of the second house, the first four ranked Israeli immigrants will join the House of God, where Academic Plovdiv and BC Bro from Bulgaria, KK Iber and Taudo Tibet from Montenegro, KK Komanovo and KK TFT Skopje from northern Macedonia play.
In the second house stage there will be two houses of three teams each, each playing four games.
After completing two rounds, the first two ranks in each house will advance to the Final Four, which is expected to take place in the spring.
Chris Johnson finished as the leading scorer in Holon with 13 points, Isaiah Miles added 12. The Reds got a successful evening from Tyrrick Jones (21 points and 10 rebounds), but it was not enough.
Yam Madar contributed 15 points.
