Will Abraham Grant coach Chelsea again this season?
This script, which used to seem fictional until recently, now seems quite possible.
Christian Falk, the Bild reporter who is considered the most credible reporter than recent reports of Grant and claims that if Frank Lampard is sacked from the Blues in the coming days, Grant will be replaced immediately by the end of the season, with Thomas Tuchel appointed permanent coach this summer.
Grant's name has come up in recent days following the crisis in Chelsea that does not look good in the league despite heavy financial investment and the signing of stars such as Timo Werner and Kai Haberz.
Initial estimates were that Grant would work alongside Lampard as a professional adviser, but now there are growing reports that Grant will replace Lampard, whom he previously coached in his first term, so the team reached the Champions League final and finished as runners-up.
It should be noted that Grant referred to the rumors yesterday and said: "I read the reports, I received a lot of supportive messages, and thank you, but I can say that I did not receive any official offer from the club. Be strong, need time, Frank also needs time and patience."
This morning, the Sun also reported that Grant is not expected to arrive this season.

The 65-year-old Israeli, who is considered very close to Abramovich, has not coached since the tenure at Northeast United of the Indian League in 2018.
In 2007 he stepped down from his managerial role at Chelsea, stepping into the shoes of Jose Mourinho who was sacked.
Lampard was one of his standout players, with 20 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions.
Despite the success, Grant received numerous reviews in the kingdom and was fired three days after that final.
He later also coached at Portsmouth, West Ham, Partizan Belgrade and the Ghana national team.
The Blues started the current season very badly and after 17 rounds they are ranked only ninth with 26 points, including a lone league victory in their last six games.
Rumors of Lampard's replacement have been circulating for the past few days, but it is not inconceivable that instead of being sacked, Abramovich will eventually choose to add another professional to the squad, giving the legendary former player one last chance.
