Since the dismissal of Vladan Ivic from Watford, he has been mentioned as a candidate to return to Maccabi Tel Aviv, as well as to the Serbian team and AEK Athens.
Although the Serb refused, and according to reports it was easy to take time off later in the season, in his homeland it is reported tonight (Friday) that he may return to the lines soon.
According to Serbian media reports, Ivica is the leading candidate to coach Sheffield Wednesday in the English Premier League, after she fired Tony Paulis after just a month and a half in the job.
Although the Owls have recently managed to recover somewhat with three straight wins in all competitions, they are still ranked 21st with 19 points - like Wayne Rooney's Derby County below the red line.
Also in the gambling agencies in the kingdom, Ivica was mentioned as the leading candidate, ahead of Paul Cook and Chris Coleman.
Ivica coached Maccabi Tel Aviv in the years 2018-2020 and marched it to two consecutive and very convincing championships.
In the summer he was appointed coach of Watford, who became his third team after previously also coaching PAOK Thessaloniki.
In 20 league games under him, the Wasps achieved 9 wins, 7 draws and 4 losses.
