The Confederation of Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced today that the 2020-2021 African Super Cup will be held from the 24th to the 26th of next September.
CAF did not specify a date for the 2019-2020 African Super Cup, after it was postponed more than once.
Al-Ahly of Egypt won the African Champions League at the expense of its compatriot Zamalek 2-1, while Nahdet Berkane of Morocco won the CAF Confederation title after defeating Egyptian Pyramids 1-0 and the two winners have not met in the Super so far.
It is noteworthy that Zamalek won the last edition of the African Super Cup, which was held last year, by beating Esperance of Tunisia 3-1.
