1: 1 summary between Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Haifa (Sport 1)

The king of Premier League goals, Nikita Rokavitsia, is examining options outside Israel towards the end of his contract with Maccabi Haifa, at the end of the current season.

According to reports in the Arab media, the Australian striker was recently contacted by officials who offered to help him find a team in one of the Gulf states.

According to the same report, South Korea and Japan are also on the Australian radar.

Rokavitsia, 33, understands that he is facing one of the last contracts of his career, and is looking for a place where he can earn a much higher amount than what is offered to him by Maccabi Haifa.

According to the report, the striker hopes to take advantage of the fact that Australia is a member of the Asian Football Association to improve his chances.

In the Qatari league there are places for six foreigners in different categories, one of which is dedicated to a player from the Asian Federation.

The situation is similar in the Korean league, where the 2021 season has not yet opened.

The striker knows that he will also be able to earn large sums of money in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, and hopes that his age will not be an obstacle for him.

In the leagues in the Gulf, older players sometimes sign high contracts, but these are usually those with a much larger resume than Rokavitsia.

Rokavitsia has been playing for Maccabi Haifa since the summer of 2016. His current contract will expire at the end of the season and in fact he is already allowed to sign a preliminary agreement with another team as part of which he will join in the summer.

He has already scored 13 league goals this season, having finished last season as the top scorer with 18 goals.
