The organization's president, Dana White, hinted at a possible return of Habib Normgomedov to the arena: "He is waiting for developments"

In October Habib Normgomedov broke the hearts of quite a few people in the UFC world when he decided to retire after defeating Justin Geichi in a battle for the lightweight belt and achieving the 29th victory of his career.
Last night (Saturday) UFC President Dana White gave great hope to Dagestani's fans when he said he told him he was considering returning to the Octagon.
Habib told me he would not hold the belt in his weight category without a fight.
"He was very impressed with Charles Oliveira's victory over Tony Ferguson and is waiting to see what happens in the battle between McGregor and Dustin Fourier," said White.
"He is waiting for developments and made it clear to me that 'if there is a fighter who will impress him and present him with a challenge,' he may return to the arena," he added.
White added: "I thought when he retired he made an emotional decision. There was no reason to make a hasty decision then. He's the best in the world right now. He needed some time to clear his head. If the people competing now do what I think they will do this weekend "Next, it sounds like he might be interested in fighting one of them."
It should be noted that Habib's father who died from corona complications last July dreamed of seeing his son win a 30th career victory and it looks like he will want to keep the will of the man who accompanied him for many years in the profession.
