An unusual event was recorded last week in Cleveland, which is expected to soon release Kevin Porter Jr. - who selected him in the 30th place of the 2019 draft.
The young guard began to rave and did not calm down even when coach JB Bickerstaff and general manager Kobe Altaman entered the room.
According to reports in the United States, Porter was so angry that he started throwing food in the locker room and claimed it was "modern slavery."
According to sources in Cleveland, the move was not made as a hint of dissatisfaction, but simply as part of the club's procedures - the veteran players, according to reports, get lockers attached to each other.
Either way, Porter, asked to move his words to the other end of the room, refused to calm down.
"It exploded on Kobe," it was written in the United States, "and Kobe exploded on it back. In the end, after Kobe failed to calm him down, it was actually the straw that broke the camel's back."
As can be understood from this, this is not the first disciplinary incident in which Porter has been involved.
Last August he was accused of punching a woman in the face during an incident on the streets of Cleveland.
Three months later he was arrested with a gun loaded in his vehicle.
Cleveland has nevertheless agreed to allow him to return to training, but he has yet to play this season.
"I'm more worried about his life outside of basketball right now," said one of the club members.

Porter (20, 1.93m) spent one season at USC College, but was also involved in a number of disciplinary incidents there and played in only 21 of his team's 33 games.
The Cleveland rookie season showed sparks, including a 30-point game against Miami last year, but in the Cubs he will never play again.
In all, he made 50 appearances last season averaging 10 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
