Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has said the club are interested in signing Lionel Messi once his contract expires this summer.
Flea is free to negotiate with teams starting January 1 but has stated that he will make a decision on his future only at the end of the current season when the French are exploring the possibility of luring him to the City of Lights.
"Big players like Messi will always be on PSG lists. Of course this is not the time to talk about it or dream about it but we are together with the other big clubs that are following him closely," the Brazilian told French media.
"We actually did not start talks with him but we are under surveillance. There are four more months left until the end of the season and in football it is an eternity, especially at this time," he added.
Any potential move by the French of course involves a significant financial commitment, especially as the club aims to keep Killian Ambape and Neymar with both stars signed at PSG until June 2022.
