Hapoel Tel Aviv striker Eden Hershkovitz last season, signed today (Monday) for half a season at Karmiotisa and he will try to help it stay in the first division in Cyprus.
He joins stopper Yarin Peretz, who himself plays for the modest team.
At the end of 20 rounds, Karmiotisa is ranked 13th and penultimate in the Cypriot league - two points below the red line.
Hershkovitz, 23, grew up in Hapoel Tel Aviv and made his debut in the senior team uniform in the Toto Cup derby at the beginning of the 2015/16 season.
He joined the team in the relegation season and played with it in the sub-league, but failed to score.
In the last two years he was loaned to Hapoel Ramat Gan and last season he excelled with 11 conquests in the national league.
In the summer, Hershkovitz returned to Hapoel Tel Aviv, but has had few minutes since.
He is a partner in six games in the Premier League, the last of which was a 1-0 loss to Bnei Yehuda at the end of November.
