Tom Thibodeau's team did not go down to earth after the big win with Boston, and now no one remembers the five-loss streak.

The Magic, on the other hand, have a completely opposite momentum, with a sixth straight loss.

The Knicks opened a double-digit lead in the second quarter thanks to RJ Barrett and Alfred Peyton, who set up 54:68 at the start of the first quarter, but Nikola Wojciech dropped to just 76:75, four minutes to go.

Terence Ross set up an 80-81 with an incredible three-and-a-half minutes to the buzzer, but Julius Randall and Barrett turned in, and Ross and Aaron Gordon missed crucial shots.

Barrett led with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Randall added 21 (5 of 19 from the field) and 17 rebounds.

Wojciech led the loser with 24 and 14 rebounds, Ross added 19 and Gordon contributed 18, 17 rebounds and 9 assists.
