Mesut Özil with Fenerbahçe scarf: "I'm very happy, very excited"

The Turkish first division team Fenerbahçe has announced the change of Mesut Özil with a song text.
On Saturday evening, the club tweeted a line from the Tarkan song "Gül Döktüm Yollarına".
Many Turkish football fans should know the text by heart, it is often sung in the stadium.
The allusion to the transfer contained therein was probably correspondingly clear.
At one point in the song the word
mesut
appears.
The first name of the Rio World Champion also means "happy".
The tweet has now garnered a good 600,000 likes - and the newcomer himself officially announced his decision on Turkish television.
“I'm very happy, very excited.
God gave me the chance to wear the Fenerbahçe jersey, ”said Özil on Sunday in a live broadcast with NTV.
Since then, the news has caused storms of enthusiasm in Turkey.
