Along with the attempts to recover from a long injury in the Maccabi Tel Aviv uniform, Omri Caspi continues to build his business activity for the day after the end of his career.

One of the areas of interest that the first Israeli in the NBA recently discovered is in the field of cannabis.

Starting last year investing millions of dollars in the field, it has recently become one of the favorites of NBA players now and in the past.

Among other things, it deals with investments in permits for import and export of cannabis overseas.

It turns out that one of Caspi's business associates is Larry Sanders, a former NBA player who is remembered for retiring from basketball at just 26 in surprising circumstances, even though he was still a sought-after chin who could earn millions of dollars a season, due to dealing with anxiety and depression.

During his years in the league Sanders was suspended by the NBA twice for using marijuana, and then explained that he was using a drug to deal with an anxiety disorder.

Sanders still tried to return to the NBA and was signed by Cleveland in 2017, but was cut short in a short time.

Now he and Caspi are investing together in a mouth spray made from cannabis, and are convinced that the product is ideal for use even for athletes who are dealing with anxieties and daily stresses.

The spray helps reduce anxiety and helps you fall asleep.

"We've been taught all these years that cannabis is bad, but now we're starting to see the good side of it. We're trying to help change that perspective," Caspi said in an extensive article about his and Sanders' venture at Athletic.

The article says that in addition to Caspi and Sanders, there are three other NBA players currently investing in the product with them, but chose to remain anonymous.

It was also noted that the product "could become extremely popular among NBA players."

Sanders said in the article that Caspi was the one who interested him in investing financially in the venture, as someone who became an avid advocate of legalizing cannabis after his years in the NBA.

"Omri brought me to one of the meetings with a potential investor, and I was immediately interested. As one who consumes cannabis, I realized that there is an opportunity here to bring into the world a healthier way of consuming it."
