Brill Ambolo met Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Basel uniform a few years ago in the Champions League qualifiers, at a time when he was considered one of the greatest talents on the continent. Or rather, mostly hurts himself.
Last night, his team Borussia Mönchengladbach defeated Werder Bremen 0: 1 in the German league and Ambolo was not included in the squad.
According to a report in the German "Bild", the reason for this is related to the fact that the striker violated the corona guidelines in Germany, spent a large party without maintaining social distance and around him were found no less than 15 girls suspected of being escort girls and strippers.
The incident took a significant turn when, as soon as the German police arrived at the scene, Ambolo fled through the roof of the building, tried to move to another apartment and was apprehended by the police who passed the information to Mönchengladbach.
Ambolo denied the allegations when he posted a story on Instagram and wrote: "I spent time with a friend, we sat at his house and watched a basketball game. I admit, it was silly of me, but it's not true what they say about me having a party."
