The year 2020 was not a normal year, but even in such a year UEFA did not give up, and announced the composition of the 11 biggest players of the year, chosen by almost 6 million fans who voted through the UEFA website.
Aside from the particularly respectable representation of European champions Bayern Munich, the big stars filled the list.
Cristiano Ronaldo was selected for the 14th time out of 17 times he was nominated, Lionel Messi for the 11th time out of 15 nominations, and Sergio Ramos was elected for the eighth time out of 12 in which he was nominated.
Neymar, who has not been selected since 2015, is back on the list.
