After 10 days of inactivity, Washington is preparing to return to the pitches.

The Wizards held their first practice tonight (Wednesday through Thursday) since the Corona outbreak that led to the team’s shutdown, and will hold the game against Milwaukee on the night between Friday and Saturday as scheduled, after five games postponed.

This means that alongside the absence of the injured Thomas Bryant and Russell Westbrook, coach Scott Brooks will have at his disposal a squad of only eight players including Bradley Bill, Raul Neto, Robin Lopez, Cassius Winston, Isak Bonga, Jerome Robinson, Garrison Matthews and Anthony Gill.

This is not particularly encouraging news for the Wizards, who are already in a weak balance of eight losses compared to three wins, and are now embarking on a challenging journey of away games.

After the meeting with Brooklyn, Washington will be hosted by San Antonio, Houston and New Orleans, and will return to host in the capital only on January 30, against Atlanta.

Abdia averaged 7 points, 4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 23.2 minutes per game in his first 11 games in the best league in the world.
