The Japanese government has agreed to cancel the Tokyo Olympics, which have been postponed since the summer of 2020 due to the corona plague, according to a report in the British Times, which added a quote from a senior Japanese official who said: "No one wants to be the first to admit it "It's too difficult. Personally, I do not think it will happen."
The British newspaper says that currently in Japan understand that there is no chance that the Olympics will take place this summer and are now working on an attempt to host the Olympic Games in the next available time - the year 2032.
The International Olympic Committee continues on its own, denying reports released in the UK. Committee President Thomas Bach said: "At this stage we have no reason to believe that the Olympic Games will not open on July 23 at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo. We have no plan B."
